Unfortunately, the poverty we face today are too numerous, too substantial and too complex to be treated with levity within the ambit of state government capacity in comparison with the kinds of poverty we experienced in the past, today’s poverty seems to elicit an unpredicted level of uncertainty and urgent need for re-engineering of our humanitarian mechanisms.

As we contend with multiple humanitarian crises, we cannot but listen to the clarion call to embrace humanitarian outreach on poverty detection, prevention and management as to make our society live able and progressive for all and sundry.
